Adriano back in favour with Brazil

National Brazilian coach Dunga has named former Inter Milan forward Adriano in his 25 man preliminary squad for the world cup qualifiers this coming June.
Aftering citing many personal problems throughout his career, Dunga believes that Adriano is ready to perform for his country once again.
"His football has never been in question" the Brazilian coach said.
After a disappointing 2007 where he was loaned out to Brazilian club San Pablo, "the emperor" has since shown immense promise, scoring six goals in the Copa Libertadores this season.
Dunga later explained that Adriano needed a bit of stability and care in his life to once again rise to the heights that made the Brazilian forward one of the most feared players in world football.
"He has got immense calibre, but he needs to be in an environment where there is a lot love and respect around him". That is the only way for him to rediscover his goal scoring prowess."
Brazil will play two friendlies prior to the qualifiers against Venezuela and Canada. Adriano is unlikely to participate in these matches as he has been granted permission to stay at his club.
His grand return is expected to take place in the qualifiers for South Africa where Brazil will meet current leaders Paraguay and arch-nemesis Argentina.
Dunga expressed the big players love performing on the big occasion.
"The truly great players love performing in the big matches. The friendlies only serve as preperation for these players, but their class becomes more apparent when the important matches come to the fore."
