Ballack denies German favouratism

German captain Michael Ballack believes Turkey will be a difficult rival in their EURO semi-final clash tomorrow.
The Chelsea midfielder told media hours before kick-off that his side was reluctant to throw up the favourtism tag.
"We don't see ourselves as favourites. We don't underestimate anyone. They are a team that's very strong and they will cause us a fair bit of problems" Ballack said.
Ballack - who is looking to win his first EURO crown, held Turkey accountable for the favourites tag currently placed around the German side.
"The Turks are trying to present us as favourites because they have problems with their goalkeeper, injuries and various suspensions."
"But they have demonstrated to everyone that they are capable of adapting to any situation. They have great morals and they also beat beat Croatia, a team we lost against".
"Not to mention, they have also defeated the Czech Republic and Switzerland infront of their fans" the former Bayern Munich man said.
Later, Ballack confirmed the formation his side will use to combat Turkey for a place in the EURO final.
"The 4-5-1 functioned very well against Portugal, but Turkey is a different team. They are more defensive with major control of the ball.
"We want to do everything possible to play in the final and win the cup".
