Brazil could host 2010 World Cup

Brazil is next in line to host the 2010 World Cup if South Africa fails to be in peek condition for the tournament spanish media confirmed.
FIFA president Joseph Blatter said there are three options available if the African nation does not meet requirements to host the world's biggest sporting event.
Spanish sports tabloid 'As' confirmed Brazil is the first choice in terms of taking over organisational duties for the World Cup 2010.
Brazil, who will host the World Cup in 2014, may have to give up their hosting rights in six years time to stage the tournament in 2010.
FIFA has assured that South Africa will get bragging rights in 2014 if their bid to stage the World Cup falls short.
"FIFA has informed the South African government about its decision in consulting the Brazilian federation about the possibility to speed up preperation and change the schedule of the next two World Cups".
If their bid to host the World Cup fails, South Africa have been granted time to solve its problems and stage the World Cup in 2014.
Despite the recent drama, leader of the World Cup organising commitee, Danny Jordon dismissed all rumours of South Africa's failed preperation, saying "Brazil will host 2014 and South Africa in 2010.
Whatever the situation, FIFA is worried about the African nations progress for 2010. For now, they remain confident. But for how long?
