December Madness
December 28th 2010 15:45
Can you imagine what a December Madness would do for college football? Imagine another bracket that people could talk about for days upon days. America loves brackets. Anything in bracket form is at least 10 times cooler than anything that isn’t. A 32 team bracket is not probable and I would bet against it ever happening, but it would be amazing. So here you go:
1. Auburn vs. 32. Florida International (FIU)
16. Texas A&M vs. 17 Nevada
9. Michigan State vs. 24. Maryland
8. Stanford vs. 25. North Carolina State
4. TCU vs. 29. Hawaii
13. Missouri vs. 20. Florida State
12. Virginia Tech vs. 21. UCONN
5. Ohio State vs. 28. Mississippi State
Bottom Half of bracket:
2. Oregon vs. 31. Miami (OH)
15. Alabama vs. 18. Boise State
10. Oklahoma vs. 23 Miami (FL)
7. LSU vs. 26. Iowa
3. Wisconsin vs. 30 Central Florida (UCF)
14. South Carolina vs. 19 Oklahoma State
11. Nebraska vs. 22. West Virginia
6. Arkansas vs. 27 North Carolina
There was an abnormal amount of parody this season in college football, so it was very hard to pick the last few teams in. Every conference winner got an automatic bid just like in basketball, also.
Analysis of each matchup will be provided shortly. While you're waiting, are there any intriguing matchups? Also, would you have included different teams then some of the ones above? What do you think of the seeding?
