Diamonds in the Rough - Late Pick Team-changers

Some Players Picked Late Who Could Make a Difference
Perrish Cox was picked in the 5th round by the Denver Broncos. They'd already picked up Tim Tebow and Demaryius Thomas (WR). The Broncos picked 9 players overall in the draft (7 rounds) - two first round picks and two more in the 3rd. Overall, they got a lot of quality in the early rounds, and it appears they picked wisely all the way through. Of course, only time will tell. Perrish, a defensive back, has athleticism coming out his ears, but his off-the-field behavior caused some teams to shy away from this gem. Denver up and down last year. With the nine additions added this April, they might grow into Mcdaniels' vision for his team.
Jonathan Dwyer, picked in the 6th round, is better than his draft position would indicate. It's unclear how Pittsburgh plans to use this kid, but he'll pressure Mendenhall from the get-go.
The Raiders... yeah, I know... but now that they have Jason Campbell as QB instead of Russell, they have a legitimate chance to win a few games. They drafted Rolando McClain (LB) in the 1st round - freakishly talented. Lamarr Houston (DT) in the 2nd, two OT's in rounds 3 and 4; the Raiders mean to fix their problems this year, and they seemed to pick well.
Levi Brown. If the Bills were going to pick a QB in the later rounds with a chance to actually succeed in the NFL, this guy is it. at 6-3, 229, he has the size, and his arm strength, release, and winning attitude are perfect. He has quite a story, transferring to a new school his junior year, making his way from QB#3 to starter, and then exploding for his senior season. The best part for him is that there's no legitimate talent in between him and the starting position. I'm intrigued.
More later. Watch these players and teams. I'm seeing definite hope for the Chiefs, Lions, Rams, Browns and (yes, even the Raiders) to improve from last year.
