Brazilian superstar Kaka has failed to recover from a knee injury and will not take his place in Brazil's upcoming world cup Qualifiers.
Brazilian coach Dunga could not wait any longer, insisting the current World Player of the year to stay wrapped in cotton wool.
"We want to preserve him, he is not yet 100 percent for a return to the national side" Dunga said.
Kaka will be replaced by San Paulo midfielder Hernanes.
The Milan midfielder underwent an arthoscope on his injured knee and has been told to resume full training on the 10th of June, which is five days prior to Brazil's first World Cup qualifier against Paraguay.
In a conference held by the Brazilian football federation, Dunga said that they had agreed to terms with Italian giants AC Milan over Kaka's proposed return to action.
"With an established agreement with Milan, we have decided to preserve the player, who is is in a recuperation fase at the moment and will unlikely return for the two matches".
Brazil will play a friendly international with Venezuela, before their two matches against ladder leaders Paraguay and arch-nemisis Argentina.
