Messi to Madrid rumours false

Barcelona midfielder Lionel Messi has dismissed suggestions of a possible transfer to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
In an interview with Portuguese paper 'Publico', Messi is content with finishing his career at the Nou Camp.
"Those rumours are pure fantasy," Messi said. "If it was depending on me, I would stay at Barca until the end of my career."
Although Messi currently rejects all offers, it has not stopped English Premier league side Manchester City from tabling a 112 million Euro check for the Argentine.
Indeed that type of contract is only thrown up to the very best players and Messi is certainly one of those.
He continued his stellar run this season for Barca by scoring the equaliser in their Copa Del Rey semi-final against Mallorca yesterday.
Messi's goal was enough to send Barcelona to their first Copa Del Rey final in eleven years, where they will verse Atletico Bilbao.
Although Barcelona remain in the running for the unique treble this season, Messi says the team's primary focus is to be champions of La Liga.
"The first objective of the club is to be the best team in Spain. The Champions League is more complicated and the team will take it one match at a time.
"In saying that, we really feel the need to win every trophy this season."
