NBA- San Antonio beat Hornets, through to the final

Argentine superstar Manu Ginobili has inspired the San Antonio Spurs to 91-82 win over the New Orlean Hornets to clinch a showdown with Los Angeles in the grand final of the Western conference.
San Antonio, through the hands of Ginobili, clawed their way back in a series that looked dead and buried a week ago and clinched an agonising victory over a distraught Hornets side that led this tie 2-0.
Ginobili was the top scorer for the Spurs as he finished with 26 points and produced five rebounds and assists to propel his side to an unlikely second consecutive Western conference final.
French international Tony Parker eagerly backed up Ginobili's work, scoring 17 points while frontman Tim Duncan added 16 points to help keep San Antonio's back to back championship ambitions alive.
Man of the match Ginobili said he was proud of the effort displayed by his team tonight.
"We were solid and we built up a lead that we knew could maintain itself right to the end".
On the other side of the spectrum, Hornets frontman David West and MVP runner-up Chris Paul each scored 20 and 18 points respectively, but it wasn't enough as the Spurs showed their championship qualities to outlast their semi-final opponents who will rue not finishing the tie off when they had the chance.
This is the first time the Spurs have reversed a 0-2 defecit in a finals tie. They will now meet the Los Angeles Lakers in the final who finished the regular season as champions and qualified for the final hence their semi final victory over the Utah Jazz by 4 games to 2.
