Robinho gets close with Chelsea

Real Madrid ace Robinho has been linked with a move to English Premier League giants Chelsea.
The representative of the Brazilian star yesterday flew to London hoping to reach an agreement with the directors of the Champions League finalists.
Spanish media confirmed Madrid's asking price for Robinho's departure is 36 million euro.
Robinho's future at the Spanish champions continues to remain unclear. That is why Robinho's representative, Wagner Ribeiro, met with Chelsea officials to discuss a possible transfer.
It is believed Ribeiro confronted Chelsea's sporting director, Frank Arnesen to discuss Robinho's prospects of playing in London next season.
New Chelsea manager Luis Felipi Scolari made it clear early on the Brazilian player was on his radar despite Madrid's strong efforts to keep him.
After all the speculation linking superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to the Spanish giants, it is believed Robinho's impending departure will allow Madrid to snare the Manchester United star for a record breaking transfer fee.
It is likely Robinho will be used as the scapegoat in his club's effort to lure one of the biggest superstars of world football.
