Spanish paper Diario As has highlighted that the Catalan giants will plan to go through a mass cleanout in terms of their player roster.
After such a bad season with coach Rikjaard departing the club in June, the club looks set to suffer severe modifications.
Barcelona cannot win La Liga and are now out of the Champions League. They now have nothing to play for as they reach the climax in season 2007-08.
For that, the club has moved swiftly to ensure Frank Rikjaard's departure as manager of the Catalan giants. However Ronaldinho and Henry head a long list of player uncertainty at a club that has suffered its fair shair of failures this season.
Liliam Thuram:
Thuram has been told to look for another club after Barcelona told the player they will not renew his contract which ends on the 30th of June.
Edmilson:
He has rubbished speculation that there are "black Sheep" at the club. His time at the club has been plagued by injury and his contracts runs out as soon as the season finishes. Villareal are keen for his services.
Deco:
The Portugese international has played very little football this season. His recuperation in the Champions League semi-final has not saved him. However he has told Portugese journalists back home that he wants to leave the Nou Camp.
Gudjohnsen:
LIke Rikjaard, he too will leave the Nou Camp. Has hardly seen any action in his time with Barcelona.
Sylvinho:
His contract ends on the 30th of June but he has shown promise in a Barcelona jersey. For that he may play in 2009.
Marquez:
His relationship with Madrid actress Jaydy Mitchell has not been well recieved by the Barcelona press. His constant injury problems will cause concern when his contract expires.
Zambrotta:
His wife has left Barcelona due to adaption problems. After giving Scholes the pass that resulted in United's goal, he too looks set to follow his love back to Italy. Milan are favourites for his services.
Henry:
Was signed to form the most potent attacking force in Europe. However he has demonstrated to all that his best days were left at Arsenal. He has three years left in his contract and looks set to serve them, but his desire to go back to the London club is still very strong.
Ronaldinho:
Remains injured and has witnessed his worst season in football since 2003. He will not be at Barcelona next year but Milan or Manchester City will have to increase their offers to the Catalan club after Barcelona said the Brazilian is worth at least 40 Million Euro.
