English champions Manchester United will look to FIFA to solve speculation that could see Portugese superstar Christiano Ronaldo head to Real Madrid next season.
Spanish sports paper "Marca" and "AS" reported that United have lost patience with Ronaldo's case and will report any misunderstandings with Real to FIFA.
United, who were recently crowned European champions, have made it clear that Real Madrid will not get in the way of Ronaldo staying at Old Trafford.
"The club has observed with increasing irritation the comments in regards to Real Madrid's audacious bid to poach Christiano Ronaldo. He has a contract that is large in duration and his commitments are solely with Manchester United".
"The player is not for sale and we will seek FIFA's help if Real Madrid continue with this unacceptable approach. The club has simply had enough and wants to move on for next season."
From his part, Madrid president Roman Caladron denies any wrong doing against a club that he feels maintains a good relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson's men.
"We have not talked and we will do nothing to jeopardise our friendship with Manchester or any other club for that matter" Caladron said.
"We will never force a player to break his contractual relationship with their club".
Ronaldo, who is strong favourite to be crowned the world player of the year next season, is currently in camp with the Portugese national team in preperation for Euro 2008 in Austria / Switzerland.
