It's official - Ronaldo wants a move to Madrid
Manchester United superstar Christiano Ronaldo has told the english club that he is keen for a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid next season.
Reports suggest the Portugese international is ready to announce his decision after Portugal's first match against Turkey in EURO competition next week.
After winning both the Premier League and Champions League titles, Ronaldo feels his cycle in Manchester United has been completed.
The news comes weeks after the Portugese superstar revealed his desire to play for 'Los Merengue' to portugese media early last month.
Spanish reports said a move to the Bernabeu next season for Ronaldo is becoming a reality.
It's been reported that Ronaldo already told family and friends in England about his decision to move on.
Ronaldo, who will be favourite for the FIFA World Player award, said the chance to defend the La Liga title, and win a Champions League were high on his to do list if he goes to Madrid.
United however, are still reluctant to open the door for Ronaldo's departure.
The Portugese poster boy is keen to do what is necessary for a move to the La Liga champions.
He has been willing to make his feelings public for a while now, but has been told by his Portugese national team to keep a lid on things after their match against Turkey to avoid any disruptions.
