Spanish sides conquer UEFA cup second round

La Liga clubs have had a day to remember in the UEFA Cup after all four teams qualified for the second round.
Deportivo La Coruna, Sevilla, Racing Santander and Valencia all secured their place while AC Milan, Olympiakos and Manchester City also booked second round births.
Spanish side Deportivo knocked off German side Brann Bergen, courtesy of two goals from Diego Colotto.
Valencia meanwhile had to wait late for their qualification after David Villa scored in injury time to beat Portuguese outfit Maritimo Funchal 2-1 in the Mestalla.
Racing and Sevilla had little worries in their matches this morning.
Racing defeated Finland side Honko Espoo 1-0 while Sevilla defeated the Red Bulls courtesy of two goals from Mali striker Kanoute.
In Switzerland, Andriv Shevchenko scored his first goal for Milan since his disastrous move to Chelsea, allowing the Italian giants to beat Zurich 1-0.
In the other matches, Greek side Olympiakos thrashed FC Nordsjaelland 5-0 while Manchester City, with Robinho, defeated Omonia 2-1
Portuguese side Benfica also qualified for the second round, defeating Italian side Napoli 2-0.
