Spurs star feels sensation again in NBA

San Antonio star Manu Ginobili is thankful to be back on court and holds no regrets of heading to the Olympics with Argentina, despite suffering the ankle injury that kept him out for months in September.
The worst part is now over for Ginobili. His injury is behind him now, while criticism from both fans and the media look to have taken a back seat.
Ginobili is now back playing Basketball again and his primary aim is to lift San Antonio to the pinnacle of the NBA.
"Not for one moment did I doubt that everything would be good again," he says. "I had the support of the club and the players. I was always confident that everything would return to normal, if not better.
Ginobili admits there was a bit of fortune involved in his recovery.
"Everything is great thanks to luck I guess. I achieved my dream of playing in this years Olympics and played well for that matter.
"I don't regret going though. If I did not go to Beijing, I would have surely had the injury elsewhere, which would have forced me to miss the rest of the NBA season anyway."
Talking on his own website, 'Manu' Ginobili reflects on the sensation of returning to the NBA this season for San Antonio.
"I was really happy just getting back on the field and playing, whether it was for just five minutes or the whole match. I was even pleased by just sitting on the bench knowing that I was available for action.
There is no doubt then that Ginobili feels young again after his long layoff.
"I feel like a kid in his first day of kindergarten. I enjoyed everything, and I got angry about nothing. Not one complaint from me."
