Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez said he would love to finish his playing career in Spain's La Liga competition spanish media has reported.
The news comes days after fellow United superstar Christiano Ronaldo was linked to Spanish champions Real Madrid for a record breaking transfer fee.
The Argentine international, who won the Premier League and Champions League titles in his first season for United, told spanish media that the La Liga is a very realistic option in the future.
He however, stressed that his playing days in England are far from over.
"One day i will probably finish my career in Spain but there is still a long road of goals for me to pave. For now, i feel wonderful here in England".
Manchester United are still in the process of approaching FIFA over Ronaldo's case with Real Madrid, and can ill afford to lose a player of Tevez's calibre.
Tevez however said that United fans need not worry.
"I am aware of how many South American players prefer to play in Italy or Spain when they come to Europe. But i am very happy because the Premier League is the best competition in the world".
Tevez, who is currently on vacation, will resume his duties with the Argentine national team when they play their June World Cup Qualifiers against both Ecuador and arch-nemesis Brazil.
